Statewide Snippets:
  • Over 2000-2016 real industry earnings grew in fifty-seven California counties while declining in one.
  • Real industry earnings growth in thirty-two counties outpaced the statewide average (35.17%), while growth in twenty-six counties trailed.
  • At the extremes of the distribution, Madera County posted the highest growth of real industry earnings (85.59%), while Sierra County placed last by logging a -28.15% decline.
